Listing and Content Policy
Last updated October 11, 2026
Your Open Season is a directory of lifestyle events for consenting adults. This policy covers what we list, what we never list, and how corrections and removals work. It applies to every listing, whether it was submitted by a host or gathered from a public source.
What can be listed
- Adults-only (18+) events for consenting adults: club nights, socials and meet-and-greets, parties, resort weeks, cruises, hotel takeovers, festivals, workshops and conferences.
- Events run by a real organizer, with a date and a place (or an online link) and a way to get details or tickets from that organizer.
What we never list
- Anything involving anyone under 18.
- Commercial sex, prostitution or escort services, or any event where sex or a sexual encounter is offered in exchange for money, gifts or anything else of value.
- Paid or compensated encounters of any kind, including "generous" or "donation" arrangements.
- Personal ads or posts by private individuals looking for partners. We list events, not people.
- Anything that is not consensual, or that promotes coercion, trafficking or exploitation.
- Explicit images or explicit descriptions. Listings stay factual: what, when, where, who it is for, and how to get details.
- Anything that identifies a private person without their consent.
How listings are reviewed
Every event submitted through our submit form goes to a private review queue and is never published automatically. Hosts confirm when they submit that the event is 18+ only, consensual, does not involve commercial sex or compensated encounters, and that they have the right to list it. Events gathered from public sources are held to the same rules, and we remove any we find that break them. We may edit, decline or remove any listing.
Gathered listings are not reviewed one by one before they appear. Automatic filters keep listings with explicit titles off the site until a person reviews them, replace explicit or personal details in descriptions (such as a private email address or phone number) with a pointer to the organizer's page, and remove duplicates.
What the "Official source" tag means
"Official source" means the listing was taken from the host's own website (for example a resort or club), not from a third-party calendar. It is not a safety check, a background check or an endorsement of the event or the people attending. Always confirm details with the host.
Corrections, claims and removals
Every event page has a "Claim, correct or remove" link. A removal request normally hides the listing from the site straight away, then a person reviews it. You do not have to prove who you are to ask for a listing to be hidden. Hosts can also see YOS for Hosts.
Report a problem
If you see something that breaks this policy, use the remove link on that listing, or email yos.bookings@proton.me. We aim to act on safety and non-consent reports within 48 hours. See also the takedown process, the Acceptable Use Policy and our Community Standards.
