Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026
Your Open Season is a directory of lifestyle events for consenting adults. This page sets out what is and is not allowed when you use the site, submit an event, send us a request or sign up for our emails. It is written in plain language and is not legal advice. It sits alongside our Terms, Community Standards and Listing and Content Policy.
Who can use the site
Adults 18 and over only. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, please leave the site.
Never allowed
- Personal ads. Posts by private individuals looking for partners, dates or encounters. We list events, not people.
- Commercial sex or compensated encounters. Prostitution, escort services, or anything where sex or a sexual encounter is offered for money, gifts or anything else of value, including "generous" or "donation" arrangements.
- Minors. Anything involving, depicting or aimed at anyone under 18. We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
- Non-consensual content. Anything that involves, promotes or threatens coercion, trafficking, exploitation, or sharing intimate images without consent.
- Explicit imagery or text. No explicit images, no explicit descriptions. Listings stay factual: what, when, where, who it is for and how to get details from the host.
- Outing people. Naming, photographing or otherwise identifying a private person in connection with the lifestyle without their consent.
- Hate, harassment and threats against anyone, including hosts, guests or our team.
- Fake or misleading listings, impersonating a host or venue, or submitting events you do not have the right to list.
Using the site fairly
- No spam, bulk or automated submissions, and no attempts to get around our forms, limits or security.
- No scraping or copying the directory in bulk, and no attempts to access data that is not meant for you.
- Do not use our emails or listings to contact people for anything this policy does not allow.
What we do about breaches
We may edit, hide or remove any listing or submission, refuse future submissions, and unsubscribe or block addresses that break this policy. Where the law requires it, or where someone may be at risk, we may report content to the authorities. Removal requests and reports are handled through our takedown process.
Report something
Use the "Claim, correct or remove" link on any event page, or email yos.bookings@proton.me. Reports about minors or non-consensual intimate images go to the front of the queue.
